About This Painting
This painting depicts Piazza Frescobaldi in Florence, near the Arno and the elegant passage toward Ponte Santa Trinita. The scene captures one of those quieter Florentine spaces where architecture, street life, and sunlight gather into a moment that feels both ordinary and timeless.
Like many of my cityscape paintings, this work began with direct observation and photography, then developed slowly in the studio through drawing, composition, and layers of oil paint.
