About This Painting

Venezia is one of my rare acrylic paintings, depicting Venice with the architectural rhythm, atmosphere, and layered reflections that make the city unlike anywhere else. The painting belongs to my broader interest in cityscapes, but Venice brings its own particular language of water, stone, light, and passage.

Unlike Florence, where streets and piazzas often anchor the composition, Venice seems to float between solidity and reflection. Buildings rise from the water, boats replace streets, and the city appears to shift constantly with light and movement. This painting explores that suspended quality.

While most of my paintings are made in oil, this work was painted in acrylic, making it an unusual piece within my body of work. The original painting has been sold, but prints remain available for collectors who would like to bring this Venetian cityscape into their own space.
